National Renewable Solutions has been shortlisted on an RFP issued by Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation (DEMEC) for the development of a 7 MWac solar facility located on approximately 50 acres in Middletown, DE. NRS has offered PPA pricing options for a flat rate, 25-year term, and a pricing option for DEMEC to pre-pay up to 70% of the total energy at the Commercial Operations Date (COD). DEMEC and the town of Middletown will be providing 100% of the land required for the project at virtually no cost and will be responsible for the cost of interconnection. The target COD for this project is 12/31/2020.
In mid 2021, NRS was acquired by BlackRock Real Assets – Climate Infrastructure Group* (“BlackRock”) with the intention of accelerating the development of its pipeline of projects toward financing, construction, and operations.
